The role
As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work directly under the guidance of our CTO and development team to help build and scale the ClassFindr platform.
You will contribute to our core product — including the AI-powered course matching engine, advisor workflows, and marketplace infrastructure — gaining hands-on experience shipping real features used by students and institutions.
Who you are
You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with foundational coursework or hands-on experience in software development.
Basic qualifications
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals — data structures, algorithms, and APIs.
- Experience with at least one language: JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Comfortable working in a modern IDE (VS Code, Cursor, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control via GitHub.
- Ability to follow structured development tasks and document work clearly.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks — Vue 3 preferred.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs.
- Exposure to cloud environments — Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of authentication and user management systems.
- Interest in AI/ML applications in real-world products.
- Experience or interest in building scalable SaaS platforms.
What you’ll do
Product development
- Build and contribute to core features of the ClassFindr platform.
- Support development of the course equivalency engine and matching logic.
- Help build advisor dashboards and student-facing workflows.
Backend & data integration
- Help design and implement APIs that power the platform.
- Work with structured and unstructured course and institution data.
- Assist in integrating third-party systems and datasets.
Frontend development
- Build responsive UI components for dashboards and marketplace experiences.
- Improve usability and performance across the platform.
Testing & debugging
- Identify bugs and performance issues across the platform.
- Write and execute test cases to validate functionality.
- Support ongoing improvements and feature releases.
Collaboration & iteration
- Work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
- Participate in sprint planning and technical discussions.
- Contribute ideas to improve the product and user experience.
